Hello and welcome to the new Petersenracing.org website! This website will be your source for all of the car shows, drag racing events, and other fun stuff going on.
As I started to think about how this site was going to be setup, and what it was going to accomplish, so I went back to the site that I created back inthe 1990′s when I first got started with web development. I thought the above animated GIF was pretty cool in it’s day, and I still get the giggles today when I see it again.

This is my 11 second big block Plymouth Duster winning the first round of eliminations against a nine second motorcycle at Cordova Dragway Park on October 15th, 2010. The footage is from my Motorola Droid phone mounted in a car cradle. The video has been rotated and lightened. The car ran 11.74@113 with a 1.64 60 foot time.
